Starting SS, I get:

[08:01:19.6858] main::init (358) mDNS startAdvertising...
Responder.c:562: failed assertion `&cursor->coreServ != thisRegistration'

and SlimServer is no longer visible in the Safari Bonjour menu.

Steven, could you have a look at this?  When you're done, assign it back to me so I can put it in the spec.

Change 12272 additionally removes the message (Responder.c:562: failed assertion ...) which is harmless. The binary is only compiled for OSX, it must be for linux platforms.

This can be closed.

Fred do you think this also fixed the Safari Bonjour menu problem?  Or is that unrelated to the warning?  Or should we just have a look? :)

Yes, no, no. All fixed and done and working and you can check and close, except for re-making mDnsPosix on Linux (all supported flavors).
