Description Greg Erskine 2006-12-01 00:21:18 UTC
Running SlimServer_6.5_v2006-11-17 Uninstall gives the following message.

SlimServer uninstall complete.
Some elements could not be removed. These can be removed manually.

Doing a manual delete of C:\Program Files\SlimServer\server gives the following error

Error Deleting File or Folder
Cannot delete mysqld.exe: Access is denied.

Killing the process mysqld.exe from Windows Task Manager fixes the above problem.

I notice that the SlimServerMySQL Service is still there after an uninstall and that probably why the process mysqld.exe is still running.

This was fixed Nov 29, see bug 4506

if using nightly builds, ALWAYS update to a more recent nightly before reporting bugs. thanks.

I had tested this problem up till SlimServer_6.5_v2006-11-27, but had to rollback due to a firmware bug that caused problems on my Transporter and SB3. Is the dhcp lease problem fixed?

Dan Sully asked me to report this on 2006-11-29 and it looks like he must have found the other bug report and fixed it on the same day.

There is no bug currently. Could you please file one with details?

Thanks
