Problem seen with RssNews, but generic to ticker display mode:

Occurs when showing extended text on screen 2 because this is erroneously causing current text to be added onto the end of the ticker every second.  Probably also causes growth in memory consumption too!

Fix added to 6.5.1 in change 10728.  Please the next 6.5.1 nightly and confirm this fixes the problem for you.

Installed the 6.5.1 nightly dated 20061120, and the ticker mode is again working as it should.

I'll leave it running in ticker mode to see if the memory leak crash is also resolved.

It does appear that the memory leak and eventual crash has been resolved as well.

My slimserver process was pretty reliably crashing once a day or so when the Transporter was left on ticker mode, and it seems stable now.  Thanks again.
