I'll attach the two files in a minute. The album art appears fine in Windows Media Player, but nothing in SlimServer.

there is a patch in bug 4269 that helps there. Is this the same problem?

scan log with wlm on debug

for the record, this is the debug output from the wma module when scanning the two supplied files. As you can see, only the second file apears to have any artwork. The patch from the other bug does appear to extract the artwork correctly from the SECOND file.

KDF, you're amazing.

My customer (tmid 13061) tried it out and he says it works perfectly! I'd think that means we should consider implementing this in SlimServer?

Chris, how do you feel about this one? Seems to cover both bug 4269 and this one.
I can merge it in any time, but I don't want to just shove it in if QA isn't on board.

can assign either of the bugs to me and I'll take care of it, asap. I'll flag it as 6.5.1 targetted for now, but it will get punted if it's not appropriate.
Comment 7 Chris Owens 2006-11-22 16:50:06 UTC
It doesn't look risky to me. Dan, what do you think? Can KDF put this in 6.5.1?
Comment 8 Dan Sully 2006-11-22 17:38:00 UTC
Sounds good to me.
