Description John Dill 2006-10-16 07:52:25 UTC
While using the digital inputs (bnc or rca to the Transporter's DAC) and connected wirelessly to a SlimServer (6.5.0 or 6.5.1), a drop in wireless connectivity interrupts the audio. The Transporter will stop and restart with the connectivity issue. Now, if I completely deny wireless access to the Transporter (by MAC filtering or otherwise) and then turn the Transporter on (using the firmware), the audio hiccup problem disappears.

I suggest altering either the firmware or SlimServer so that a drop in network connectivity does not interrupt the audio from the hard-wired digital audio sources.

This bug is fixed in squeezebox firmware 67 / transporter firwmare 22. It is currently undergoing internal testing. You will be notified again when it is made part of a nightly release.
