I ran into this while setting up my universal remote a while ago.  It would be
very handy if the squeezebox could be put into a test mode where it would echo
back the IR code received as well as the command (if any) that it corresponds
to. Not sure if this is firmware or server; please reclassify if required.

This would be a slimserver feature.
