Description Daryle Tilroe 2004-07-01 20:15:02 UTC
I'm not sure how simple this is but it would often be handy to know what the bit
rate of the MP3/wave (ok trivially always the same but useful to confirm an
uncompressed stream actually being received) stream is from the squeezebox. I
realize you can check the bit rate of the file but with transcoding that is, of
course, not always the same. I filed this as firmware but I suppose it is also
something slimserver could do.

Daryle: if the song is being transcoded, you should see both the original and transcoded bitrate if you
view the details about the song (Press right on Now Playing, or click on the song title in the web
interface.) Does this work for you?

Never mind: my bad. I'd swear that this used to work differently. I really
should have checked this one before entering it off my scrap of paper with
bugs/improvements that I have been meaning to enter for the last month or so.

Routine bug db maintenance; removing old versions which cause confusion. I apologize for the inconvenience.
