Description Dominic Evans 2006-10-05 06:47:31 UTC
When playing music, the playback is out of sync with display - although the tracks have not completed playing, the display on the SB3 has moved on to the next track and the time remaining shows that it's about 10 seconds into the next track before the actual music playing has moved on.

In other words, what i am seeing on the display is about 10 seconds ahead of what i am hearing.

The time difference seems to 'creep' and become worse the futher into the album (the longer the playback) it has got.

I DO NOT HAVE CROSSFADING ENABLED and i always see this behaviour with OGG files, although i think it have seen it with other formats (will test more).

I believe i saw this in the 6.5 BETA, but is seems worse in 6.5 official. I have reinstalled slimserver

Developers; If i have not filed this bug under the correct product/component, please change to the correct one. I just took an educated guess but i might well be wrong. The error could well be coming from slimservers side, i really don't know.

Thank you.

This is definitely a bug with Ogg, we're looking into it. Not sure it happens with other formats.

This bug is fixed in firmware sb66/tr20. It is currently undergoing internal testing. You will be notified again when it is made part of a nightly release.
