Since most of my ripping and tagging is done on the weekends, it is unnecessary wear on my hard drive to do a nightly rescan. I would like to request an option for either a one time only scheduled scan or weekly scheduled scans on a specific day. 

In my case, the nightly scan is causing "Delayed Write Failures" on my network disk if it kicks in while another program has a music file in use.

It is considered that the additional complexity in the UI is not warranted for these cases.
