Apparently, the scanner fills empty album tags with the album of the last successfully scanned track.

Ross, could you have a look?

Two mp3 files from the same album, I removed the album field in MP3tag for the second file. Had SlimServer 6.5.0 scan and it shows "2 albums with 2 songs by 1 artist." When I click on albums, it shows the album name from the tag that I didn't mess up, and it shows "No Album". This is what I would expect to see.
