Description Peter 2004-06-28 23:29:10 UTC
This does not work with the album tag as indicated if you read the help for
the field Multible Items In Tags under Server Settings / Behavior.

It does work very well with the artist tag and with the genre tag.

But not with album (and track-no). I think it would be perfect if there was a
connection between album-name and track-no:

If af file has album-tag = "album-1;album-2" and track-tag = "04;08" the
result should be 2 entrys, one with album="album-1" and track="04" and another
where album="album-2" and track="08"

If the artist (or taag) contains a seperator as well this should lead to more
entrys. If artist tag is set to "Artist-1;Artist-2" the result should lead to
4 entrys:
Artist-1, Album-1, 04
Artist-1, Album-2, 08
Artist-2, Album-1, 04
Artist-2, Album-2, 08

Vidur: This should be easier to solve in the new db, right?

This is bizzare, and confuses 99% of the people.

I'm inclined to mark this as WONTFIX.
Comment 3 KDF 2005-07-07 12:43:25 UTC
instead of wontfix, marking this as a dupe of 1776
