Description Michael Herger 2006-09-16 03:02:38 UTC
Possibly related to https://bugs-archive.lyrion.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3318, but Linux instead of Windows, characters in tags, not file names/paths.

I updated MIP on my Linux box to 1.7b and SlimServer 6.5 , did a full rescan. Artists showed up, mixable and all. But names and titles are cut off at where that non latin character should be. Bjrk became Bj, Rtmus just R. I removed all umlauts & cie. from file names and paths. So this is rather an issue with the tags. Not sure whether it's MIP or SS or the communication in between them...

A scan without MusicIP is fine.

SlimServer Version: 6.5b3 - 9781 - Linux - DE - iso-8859-1
Perl Version: 5.8.6 i386-linux
MySQL Version: 5.0.21-standard

This is an issue with MIP: items are already truncated in songs?extended.
