Description Michael Brouwer 2004-06-26 11:34:24 UTC
When using a wireless squeezebox playing unlimited bitrate FLAC everything is fine (no drop outs) with
firmware 28 and slimserver 5.2.1, but when I rescan my music library the buffer on the squeezebox
empties and I get a dropout.

Michael: can you add the specs for your server (OS, CPU, memory, library size,
file types) so we can try to figure out where the server is getting stuck?

I'm having the same problem using Platform: PC, OS: Windows XP, Version: 6.0b1,
Memory: 512 M, Library Size: 50 G and rising, File Type: FLAC.

can we define rescan here? if the db is blank on startup, I think it is not
reasonable to support full on audio for this one time effect. however, if its
due to importer 'reloads' then perhaps there is work to do.

Michael: is this still an issue for you with the 6.0 beta? Please confirm and reopen if not fully
addressed.

Routine bug db maintenance; removing old versions which cause confusion. I apologize for the inconvenience.
