Description Jez Hildred 2006-09-06 15:44:55 UTC
I've tried a couple of 6.5 nightlies inc 6.5b1 - 9449 from today (9/6/06) and in each case when selecting exbrowse3 skin, the server seems to crash. Several components seem to load until it get's to 'Loading Playlist . . " and then I get a "Http://localhost9000 Transport Error: undefined" message. In the system pref panel the server appears to be still running but the web interface doesn't seem able to connect. If you stop the server, resstart and use a different skin to access it you can get working again

Jacob is aware of the ExBrowse3 issue and is promising to have some updates in time for 6.5

Moving Exbrowse3 bugs to 7.0.
Comment 4 Chris Owens 2006-09-07 14:17:54 UTC
Ross can you look at this on your mac, since mine is still borrowed for Transporter UL testing?
Comment 5 Jacob Potter 2006-09-07 14:24:11 UTC
I can't seem to reproduce this on my system (MacBook Pro, 10.4, latest svn 9489 with SoftSqueeze)...
Comment 6 Jacob Potter 2006-09-08 18:47:43 UTC
Found it with Andy's help. Fixed in change 9519.
Comment 7 Ross Levine 2006-09-13 17:32:26 UTC
Can someone else please try reproducing this? I tried with 6.5b3 on my mac (10.4) and I'm still seeing the issue Jez reported.
Comment 8 Ross Levine 2006-09-13 18:15:41 UTC
Talked to Jacob, we identified the problem to be that it still crashes when no player is connected.

Comment when this is fixed and I'll verify.
Comment 9 Ross Levine 2006-09-13 18:17:57 UTC
I hate to pick nits, but how do you get beyond the 'basic settings' from server settings with this skin?
Comment 10 Jacob Potter 2006-09-13 18:32:01 UTC
Skin crash with no players fixed in change 9687 (trunk), 9688 (6.5 branch)

Server settings box fixed in change 9684 (affected 6.5 branch only)
