Description Sunil Jagota 2006-09-03 06:28:22 UTC
I need to get Slimserver installed and working so that my Iomega 1TB Storcenter can work with it wirelessly in an always on state (without the need for my PC/laptop).
There seems to be some information on slimserver working on other platforms, however I cant find anything on the new Iomega StorCenter.
It's important that I get this working soon and I would be very grateful if you could point me in the correct direction.
I am new to slimserver, but I am a Perl development consultant, so if there are any hacks that I can do - then please let me know and I will give them a try.
Thank you very much for your help.

this is probably something that should be asked on the forum

Hi Sunil,

As KDF points out, your question is not really a bug in our product, so I'm going to mark it as 'invalid'.

Our forums are a great source of information about getting Slimserver installed on unusual platforms. We recently created a new forum specifically for discussion of 3rd-party hardware such as NAS solutions. Its URL is http://forums.slimdevices.com/forumdisplay.php?f=18.

If you'd like to correspond directly with someone here at Slim Devices, I'd prefer to direct you to support@slimdevices.com. The folks there are much better than I am at answering these kinds of questions.

Thanks,

Christopher Owens
