Description Ross Levine 2006-09-01 17:32:07 UTC
This may not be a bug, but rather something on my individual system. I was NOT able to reproduce this 'bug' on my pc, only on my mac.

When I change my Web Server Port Number to something other than 9000, it doesn't take effect for ~10 minutes. Whats strange is I can go on changing settings, or using SlimServer, and then roughly 10 minutes later the web interface will timeout, and I'll have to change the URL to reflect the new port (other than 9000).

The same is true for Password Protection (within server settings -> security). If I enable it, and assign a username and password it doesn't seem to take effect for about 10 minutes. I can go on changing server settings, and using SlimServer, until at some point it will hang and ask me to authenticate.

I'm going to mark this as 'invalid' for now. However, I am still happy to have it in the database. I changed the summary slightly to make it easier for a user to find it if there is another case in the future, then we can spend more effort trying to pin it down.
