Per Chris' request I installed SlimServer 6.3.1 on my PC, changed every setting from the default, printed it out, then downloaded and installed SlimServer 6.5b1 (9/1/06) and compared the preferences with the printout. All settings were lost.

I don't believe you.

The file format hasn't changed, and very few of the settings themselves have changed.

I will work with Ross to figure out more specifics for this bug.  At this time I cannot reproduce the symtoms reported.

Ross, I wonder if what's happening is there is a specific setting in all the changes you made that is causing this issue.  We'll chat on Tuesday about how we can try to narrow it down.

Disbelief sounds appropriate. I have since tried reproducing this twice, and it hasn't happened.
