Under SoftSqueeze Java App (Version 0.5.2) on XP Home, selecting "Play" within
SHOUTCast plugin crashes slim server. SHOUTast searches stations correctly,
but trying to play causes a crash of SlimServer ("lost contact with Slim
Server"). SHOUTCast audio plays fine when invoked via playlist on SlimServer
web interface.

SlimServer (installed via 5.1.5-1-noarch.rpm) runs under Red Hat Enterprise
Linux 3.0 (workstation), and uses Perl 5.8.0. Bundled SHOUTCast plugin is used.

Not sure if this bug exists when using real squeezebox (don't own one yet).

Hi Neil,
This bug should be fixed in the latest pre-release version:

http://www.slimdevices.com/downloads/nightly/latest

Can you update and then note if this bug still exists.
Thanks.

I have verified that this bug has been fixed in the latest CVS release.
(slimserver-2004_06_23).

There are 536 bugs in the database with targets of '---' that were fixed prior to new year 2006. I am setting them to targets of 6.2.1 to keep them from showing up in my queries.

Routine bug db maintenance; removing old versions which cause confusion. I apologize for the inconvenience.
