Bugzilla – Bug 3967
long-dead servers continue to haunt server list
Last modified: 2010-05-07 10:52:53 UTC
Split out from bug 3591. Quote from original bug: I've seen something similar where a server disappears but it's name stays in the list (which is expected if it was the last server you connected to) BUT if you try to connect to it you connect to another discovered server on the network. I'd bet it's related. : end quote Additional information from users about how to reproduce this would be welcome.
Dean also seems to feel that if such a ghost server is selected, the SB3 will connect to another arbitrary server on the network.
This was split off from bug 3591.
All new Squeezebox products are likely to be based on the SqueezePlay platform. We do not plan to implement any further enhancements to the ip3k firmware or which are targeted specifically at ip3k-based products.
