Description Jez Hildred 2006-08-17 15:03:37 UTC
when using browse by artist to select tracks to play or add to a playlist, you jump to the start fo the artist list when you back up the artist>album>track tree.
This also seems to be true when doing the same with Browse by Genre and Year.
Comment 1 KDF 2006-08-17 16:12:31 UTC
This isn't what I'm seeing.

Browse->Artists(2 of 7)->U2(87 of 96)->Joshua Tree(3 of 5)->Bullet the Blue Sky(4 of 11)
Press PLAY => show briefly "now playing..."
Bullet the Blue sky<-Joshua Tree<-U2<-Artists<-Browse.

if I leave the player for the screensaver to kick in, I can also go back to Browse and press RIGHT straight back down to Bullet the Blue Sky.

Is this the latest nightly, or another svn rev?

Comment 2 Jez Hildred 2006-08-17 16:54:23 UTC
This was the current Aug 17th mac nightly and it was on a Transporter beta unit
Comment 3 KDF 2006-08-17 16:58:08 UTC
ok, thanks. I'm slightly ahead of that nightly. I can't see anything obvious that should have fixed something like this, however. I'll try to reproduce in a few hours when I have access to the hardware again.
Comment 4 KDF 2006-08-18 01:06:23 UTC
still unable to reproduce with svn 9034

Jez, remind me sometime (maybe tomorrow :) and I will come have a look at your system to see what you're seeing.
Comment 6 Chris Owens 2006-08-29 10:54:58 UTC
Jez stopped by and told me he is no longer seeing this symptom.

If anyone else runs across it, please reopen.
