Description Adrian Smith 2006-08-11 14:31:35 UTC
Richard, difference between softsqueeze and the firmware. If you send a 'l' or 'r' (and probably other animation) frames to softsqueeze for screen2 it causes screen 1 to go blank during the animation. Player firmware is OK.

plugin to reproduce

Can reproduce with attached display test update.
Go to 2 screen push/bump tests, select menu 3 and select right, then left. You should see the right screen animating, but left screen going blank on softsqueeze but not on the player.

Should I recategorize this, then, as a Softsqueeze bug, it sounds like?
Comment 3 Adrian Smith 2006-08-14 15:07:13 UTC
Well it's an inconsistancy between the transporter emulation in softsqueeze and the firmware. As long as it goes to Richard it doesn't really matter, but I think he should look at it alongside other transporer bugs.

This has been fixed in Softsqueeze 3.0b3. It will be available in the next 6.5 or trunk nightly build.

Richard - afraid this doesn't look to be fixed - seen my me and Greg.

I'm confused. Is this to be fixed in SoftSqueeze or Transporter?
Comment 7 Adrian Smith 2006-09-17 06:47:22 UTC
This is a softsqueeze problem.
Comment 8 Richard Titmuss 2006-09-30 15:07:59 UTC
Fixed in Softsqueeze 3.1
