Description Richard Titmuss 2004-06-14 14:46:44 UTC
With the 2.3 firmware if the squeezebox is misconfigured to share an ip address
with another host then it keeps reporting that the connection to the server is
lost and the music breaks up.

Would it be possible to detect duplicate ip addresses by looking for other hosts
responding to arp packets with the squeezebox's configured ip address, and then
display a suitable message on the display.

Dean doesn't work here any more :)

All new Squeezebox products are likely to be based on the SqueezePlay platform.
We do not plan to implement any further enhancements to the ip3k firmware or
which are targeted specifically at ip3k-based products.
