Bugzilla – Bug 3641
Duplicate WMA tracks - Flac files not picked up during initial installation scan
Last modified: 2008-09-15 14:39:24 UTC
Slimserver - After a clean install the initial scan only picks up the WMA ripped albums from my mixed WMA and Flac library. The majority of my library is currently in WMA format, but I'm in the process of moving to Flac. - On Clear/scan from web interface, the scan picks up the FLAC albums, but I get duplicate tracks in all my WMA albums Slimserver running on Windows XP Service Pack 2 Plain installation - Only two additional Plug-ins installed (Weather Time and AlienBBC) Using WMP to rip WMA VBR and EAC to Rip FLAC files I do NOT use iTunes, MusicMagic/MusicIP or MoodLogic
Could you upload some of the WMA files that are causing the issue? Thanks
Also - do you happen to have any playlists that point to the duplicated files? Thanks
Subject: RE: Duplicate WMA tracks - Flac files not picked up during initial installation scan Dan, I thought this Bug was resolved in a subsequent 6.5b1 build. I no longer have the problem with missing tracks at startup or with duplicates after rescanning. I'm still running a week old 6.5b1 build and so I don't know if the problem has returned on recent build. -----Original Message----- From: Slim Devices Bugzilla [mailto:bugs@bugs.slimdevices.com] Sent: Monday, July 24, 2006 12:42 PM To: tamanaco@verizon.net Subject: [Bug 3641] Duplicate WMA tracks - Flac files not picked up during initial installation scan https://bugs-archive.lyrion.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3641 dan@slimdevices.com changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|NEW |ASSIGNED ------- Comment #2 from dan@slimdevices.com 2006-07-24 09:41 ------- Also - do you happen to have any playlists that point to the duplicated files?
