Bugzilla – Bug 3633
ALBUM tag will not be scanned during clean scan
Last modified: 2008-09-15 14:39:24 UTC
After installing the latest nightly build (06/24/06) AND after rescanning the entire music files, the ALBUM tag will not be in the library. This problem is only happens if you cleanup the existing database (clear library and rescan everything) or if there no database exist after restart the slimserver (delete all in the Cache directory), so slimserver must build a new library.
Please provide additional information: Are you using any of iTunes, MusicMagic/MusicIP or MoodLogic? Do you have a Music Directory set in Settings?
iTunes, Musicmagic/MusicIP, Moodlogic are all disabled and not used My Music directroy is set to: M:\ and there are 3 sub dirs availalbe The Playlist directroy is set to: c:\Music\Playlist and has no subdir. Jens
I'm seeing something similar on recent Debian builds. However, the only albums that are not being seen are those that contain songs that are included in a playlist file.
Created attachment 1287 [details] Album list showing missing album titles All album titles that are missing have songs that are present in a playlist in the playlist directory.
Can you attach one of those playlists as well? And tell me which ones are missing?
Created attachment 1288 [details] Playlist Every album that has a song included in the playlist is missing.
This seems to have been resolved in the latest nightly (2006-06-29).
Great. Please reopen if you see it again.
