Description Dan Evans 2006-06-15 16:27:53 UTC
(reference tmid 5092)

From the customer:

May I first of all say that I am very impressed with the Squeezebox3 (SB) I have had it for around three weeks and am very impressed with it... I also have some ideas which would make the Squeezebox even better, certainly they are additional features that I might be looking for in a device such as this:

1) When connected to the Squeeze Network there is only one alarm that
can be configured, although when signed off, you can configure an alarm for
every day of the week.	To be able to do this whilst connected would be very
useful.

2) For an option of a SB with integrated speakers, which can be
detached if an when appropriate.

3) The ability to insert a memory card, i.e. SD card for example which
the device would be able to read supported files from to allow a 'real'
offline mode in case there is no wireless signal or network access, i.e. on
holiday for example.

4) Optional battery pack to listen to the SB 'on the move'.

5) To provide different coloured or multi-coloured displays.

6) To increase the resolution for display of graphics, images and
ultimately streamed movies or videos.

Many thanks and keep up the good work.

Rob

Hey Dan,

These don't belong in the bug database, they should go to comments@ instead. I believe that there's a bug open already for the multi-day alarm, so that one I know is in the pipeline.
