Description Philip Meyer 2006-06-14 23:04:45 UTC
If I browse to a specific artist and click "No Album",
I get a list of songs by all artists that have no album.

If I browse "No Artist" -> "No Album", I get a list of
songs by all artists that have no album, even though almost
all of the songs have an associated artist.

A similar effect occurs when browsing an artist that contributes
to a compilation album. If I browse through that artist to
the album, I see all songs, not just the songs on that compilation
by that artist.

I believe there is a pref that affects this...not sure which one. best to check for that.
Comment 2 Philip Meyer 2006-06-15 16:22:33 UTC
I can't see any relevant pref. I haven't changed my prefs,
and it's only changed in functionality since moving to 6.5b1 split-scanner.

There is something similar for browsing genres:
"FILTER GENRES AT THE ALBUM & TRACK LEVEL" - maybe kdf was thinking of that?
Comment 3 KDF 2006-06-18 12:12:35 UTC
yes, I believe that's the one I'm thinking of.

Is this still an issue with the latest nightlies?

Thanks
Comment 5 Philip Meyer 2006-06-30 12:03:57 UTC
