Description Jacob 2006-06-12 20:56:27 UTC
I have just purchased a new Macbook Pro. I installed SlimServer and when I click Start Server, it runs for a few seconds and then stops. I have tried everything on the forums from deleting all slimserver files, reinstalling, deleting prefpane com files, etc... This is a problem on all versions from 6.2.1 to 6.51b. PLEASE HELP

-Jake

tried contacting support@slimdevices.com? Please let them walk you through the basic diagnosis. They will either help you get things running, or identify an actual bug.

set to 6.3 because that's what I care about most at the moment. However, I agree with KDF's suggestion to contact support.

I've (and users) have run many versions of slimserver on OSX so that I don't think it's that broad a bug. Support should be able to extract additional details about why this might be happening, and maybe even fix the problem.

Yes, Jacob, please contact support@slimdevices.com to diagnose your problem. Intel Macs require SlimServer 6.2.2 or better.
