browse albums, showing bad pagebar

Using Fishbone skin in this example, but applies to default as well. Pagebar, where it shows int eh list with unicode doesn't seem to show the same in the pagebar.

Fixed in change 7911

You'll need to wipe & rescan.

now working for me it seems. i know mysql < 4.1 is not supposed to wkirk wel with unicode, but the albums ARE working where the pagebar headings are not. Characters in teh boxes from the screencap are gone, but the X and AE remain.

I checked in the eval wrapper.. but there's no way to fix it for MySQL < 4.1
Comment 5 KDF 2006-06-12 16:38:55 UTC
It was working correctly prior to split-scanner, so what is making it different now? And why do the album titles work, while being unable to grab and sort the first letter of those albums?

Suggest a note for system requirements....MySQL >= 4.1

Using internal only, can verify that the characters work. As well, the order now appears correct and the links now go to the correct point in the list.

One exception: and album with a bad tag "[FILE]". This appears at the end of the album list, after Z but before the unicode chars. however, in the pagebar, it is after 9 and before A. Oddly, when viewing the last page of the album listings, the last pagebar items are highlighted AS IS the [ char even though it is back near the right side of the list. Must be a TT sorting thing. not sure if this really matters at all, since it is the result of a stupid album tag.
