Description Marvin Brown 2006-06-09 20:25:19 UTC
Since I've upgraded to 6.3 I've noticed that my originally saved playlist are not showing up when I
try to browse playlist function.

The location of my playlist hasnt changed since I was on 6.1
I've tried clearing all music and rescanning and rescan playlist only

I'm on windows xp, running 6.3 nightly 2006_06_09

Thanks

is this not bug 3427 then?
Comment 2 Marvin Brown 2006-06-11 09:26:28 UTC
yes it is similar to bug 3427.

I did everything suggested in that bug but still no luck.
I believe that bug's status is resolved? but I'm still experiencing the problem
Comment 3 KDF 2006-06-11 11:24:35 UTC
it is marked as resolved, but the comments in the report suggest it is not resolved for all.

chris: can you keep an eye on this?

Additional testing;

If create a playlist in 6.3 and then save it everything is ok. I can browse for it and the system sees it and displays it.

If the playlist was not created in 6.3 via the web UI then the system does not recognize it.

Marvin, do you recall what version of slimserver you were running before you upgraded to 6.3? Was it 6.2.2?

Also, could you possibly attach one of the your affected playlist .m3u files?
Comment 7 Chris Owens 2006-06-21 10:50:59 UTC
Marvin is it possible I could get you to install the latest 6.3 build and rescan for your playlists?

Some playlist fixes have been added that might help. I'd like to know if this is still an issue.
Comment 8 Chris Owens 2006-06-22 16:02:24 UTC
Well it seems to be working for me at the moment. However, I acknowledge this is an important problem to keep an eye on, so I'll just set it to 6.5 for now.

Chris,

I did what you asked and it picked up ALL of my playlists.

Thank you.

Marking as fixed, then.
