Description Blackketter Dean 2004-06-07 12:23:38 UTC
We preload silence at the beginning of tracks to allow D/A converters to lock on to S/PDIF signals. This
silence is 44.1khz sampled. We need to conditionally send silence at the right sample rate in order to
make sure that the decoder does not lose sync.

Is this even true anymore, Richard?
Comment 2 Richard Titmuss 2007-07-10 13:03:28 UTC
Yes, it is a slimserver setting that people can enable to send silence before a track. It's not a firmware bug, I'll hand it back to you for now Chris.

Routine bug db maintenance; removing old versions which cause confusion. I apologize for the inconvenience.
