One example: VMWare virtual network adapters on different subnets are still found by the multicast UPnP.  SlimServer blocks for a long time before erroring out when trying to connect to them.

Fixed.  Will timeout in 2 seconds and only try to hit unreachable devices at most once every 10 minutes.

This bug fix is now part of a released version, and so has been marked closed. If you are still experiencing this problem, please reopen the bug.
