Description Blackketter Dean 2004-06-07 08:51:35 UTC
If you start at Browse Artist

1 right arrow takes you to the artist list

Now you scroll down to the desired band (let's say R.E.M).

1 right arrow gets you to the list of albums by artist (R.E.M.) Screen EVEN IF YOU ONLY HAVE ONE
ALBUM.

Scroll to album (let's say Eponymous)

1 right arrow gets you to the songs on the album

Scroll to 12. (It's the end of the world...)

1 right arrow gets you to the song name screen (numbered song on top, info at bottom).

Now if you have more than 1 R.E.M. Album, everything is fine- 4 left arrows will get you back to Browse
Artist. But if you have only one album by an artist, 4 left arrows will overshoot since you SKIP the
albums by artist screen on the way back. It's a small thing but really gets my muscle memory confused
(since sometimes there is an extra left arrow to get back..).

Probably a nit, but at least I'm not crazy.

I am not going to comment on how crazy you are, but the skipping of levels when going back appears
fixed in the 6.0 beta. :)

 Please confirm.

This was probably fixed as a collateral result of teh home menu rework. There
is now nothing specific about browsing forward or back through any given type.

Anyway, I've also tested and can confirm. marking a fixed

There are 536 bugs in the database with targets of '---' that were fixed prior to new year 2006. I am setting them to targets of 6.2.1 to keep them from showing up in my queries.

Routine bug db maintenance; removing old versions which cause confusion. I apologize for the inconvenience.
