Bugzilla – Bug 3473
Uninitialized value warning at first startup
Last modified: 2008-12-15 11:58:05 UTC
When starting the nightly from 31/5 the first time I get the following errors: 2006-05-31 19:49:40.0371 Use of uninitialized value in numeric lt (<) at /usr/local/SlimServer_v2006-05-31/Slim/Player/Player.pm line 174. 2006-05-31 19:49:40.0376 Use of uninitialized value in array slice at /usr/local/SlimServer_v2006-05-31/Slim/Player/Player.pm line 175. 2006-05-31 19:49:40.0379 Use of uninitialized value in array slice at /usr/local/SlimServer_v2006-05-31/Slim/Player/Player.pm line 175. Slimserver continues to run so I'm not sure if they cause any problem. If I restart slimserver the errors does not appear again, so it is just the first time slimserver is started when no slimserver.conf file exist.
ah...just saw this buried in another bug report and fixed it in change 7738 as an n/a bug number. should be fixed now. rather trivial and harmless, since it was part of an older upgrade script, which is why you see it only during a new-conf startup.
Verified fixed in SlimServer Version: 6.3.0 - 7895 - Windows XP - EN - cp1252
This bug has been fixed in the latest release of SqueezeCenter! Please download the new version from http://www.slimdevices.com/su_downloads.html if you haven't already. If you are still experiencing this problem, feel free to reopen the bug with your new comments and we'll have another look.
