Description Hanno Stock 2006-05-04 04:48:09 UTC
When I play last.fm stations and skip a song, the Squeezebox soft resets itself, most of the time.
(screen blank, startup logo appears, IP address is aquired, etc.)

I tried firmware version 37, also. Same problem.
Comment 1 Hanno Stock 2006-05-04 05:12:20 UTC
I just discovered that the problem seems only to occur when using the >> button. Using SKIP via the LastFM menu seems to work.
Comment 2 Blackketter Dean 2006-05-04 08:41:55 UTC
Chris:; can you reproduce?
Comment 3 James Craig 2006-05-04 09:02:01 UTC
user confusion I think.
>> button will try and ffwd the mp3 stream, it is not the same as the 'skip' option available in LastFM menu.
Still, ffwd on mp3 stream shouldn't lock up the Squeezebox.
Comment 4 Chris Owens 2006-05-04 10:52:31 UTC
Well, it doesn't happen on all mp3 streams. I'll install the lastfm plugin and see if there's anything special about it. Would one of the users reporting this problem let me know what version of Slimserver they're running?

Thanks for any info!
Comment 5 Hanno Stock 2006-05-05 10:35:30 UTC
I was using Slimserver v6.2.2
Comment 6 Chris Owens 2006-06-05 20:02:52 UTC
So am I right that I'll need to have slimserver 6.5 to repro this?
Comment 7 Chris Owens 2006-09-08 10:09:57 UTC
Still need to try to reproduce this on 6.5
Comment 8 Blackketter Dean 2006-09-18 10:44:43 UTC
Hanno / James: can you reproduce this in 6.5?
Comment 9 Blackketter Dean 2006-09-18 10:45:40 UTC

Comment 10 Chris Owens 2007-04-18 11:12:10 UTC
Is anyone still having this problem? Many firmware bugs have been fixed since this was first reported.
Comment 11 Blackketter Dean 2007-12-29 06:31:42 UTC
Please reopen if this is still an issue.
Comment 12 James Richardson 2008-05-15 12:58:39 UTC
This bug has recently been fixed in the latest release of SqueezeCenter 7.0.1

Please try that version, if you still see the error, then reopen this bug.
