Description Chris Owens 2006-05-01 17:16:20 UTC
Although Slimserver will smoothly skip a single Rhapsody track, after trying to move past TWO tracks when the Rhapsody server has stopped responding, Slimserver appears to just give up and stop. No further tracks from the playlist are attempted, Rhapsody or local.

Chris, are these tracks at the end of the playlist?
Comment 2 Andy Grundman 2006-06-05 17:34:22 UTC
I think this may be by design. The Rhap spec says devices should give up after 1 or a few errors.

I actually can't duplicate this. I had a Rhap playlist of 50 items, signed out and closed Rhap, and the player went through and tried to play every single track. I added a normal audio file at the end of the playlist and it played normally when it had tried all the Rhap tracks.

Seems to have been fixed somewhere along the line. Tested with SlimServer Version: 6.3.0 - 7764 - Windows XP - EN - cp1252 and fw54.
