Bugzilla – Bug 3369
Automatic refresh causes cascade of errors over time
Last modified: 2008-03-26 02:41:51 UTC
Using Firefox, if a user performs an action (such as adding a favorite) on the sn page, when it automatically refreshes it will pop up a warning The page you are trying to view contains POSTDATA. If you resend the data, any action the form carried out (such as a search or online purchase) will be repeated. To resend the data, click OK. Otherwise click Cancel. If I click okay, a duplicate favorite is added. These warnings stack, so after a few minutes of ignoring the page, I have approximately 4 billion of them that I have to click Cancel to get back to SN.
I can't reproduce this. Please let me know if it's still happening.
I haven't seen this in approx. 1 billion years. I'd just as soon close this and get it out of everyone's hair.
