Running "SlimServer Version: 6.5b1 - trunk - Debian - EN - utf8" (nightly package from week of 24 April) on Ubuntu Breezy.

I have a playlist consisting of a local MP3 file and a remote NPR (MP3) stream:

/media/sdc1/MusicLib/FLAC/M/Misc/the_swedish_rhapsody.mp3
http://pubint.ic.llnwd.net/stream/pubint_kutx

If I select this playlist on a SB2, the first (local) MP3 plays but then the display indicates that it "can't open file" for the second stream.  This playlist plays correctly on a SBG and an original SB.  Max bit rate is set to no limit.

Logging with d_stream, d_remotestream, and d_source indicates:

It seems not to recognize the format of the remote stream when I attempt to play from the SB2, but the same playlist works from the SBG and SB.  The SB2 had been able to play this stream prior to updating this week.

Also, the SB2 firmware version is at 42.

This is reproducible.  Strangely, if I try to connect to the URL in question with a web browser, it returns 404.

I tested using an SB1 with fw40 and an SB3 with fw48.

I wonder if this isn't really a firmware, bug, however.

I suspect it *is* firmware-related.

I installed "SlimServer Version: 6.3.0 - 7668 - Debian - EN - utf8", upgraded to firmware version 50 and can now play the stream URL from the original comment.

Firmware v50 wasn't in the 6.5b1 package I tried before installing 6.3.0 from a tarball.

That stream works for me in both 6.3 as well as 6.5.  Marking as fixed.
