Description Mick 2006-04-26 14:52:12 UTC
When you tune in an Internet Radio station and then save the playlist your new station appears in the list of reular playlists.

However it does not behave like other playlists.

When you browse playlists, there are Play (>) and "Add to Playlist" buttons beside each playlist item.
When you click the play button here, the Internet radio station replaces your playlist and the stream starts playing as you would expect.

However, if you click on the playlist to go into the detail view, you see the list of items in the playlist.
This may just be 1 radio station. Again there is a Play & Add icon, but these do not work.
Clicking on the play button just causes your existing playlist to be wiped.
The radio station name is also a URL. Clicking on this URL brings up info about the song/radio station in the playlist.
There is a "Play this song" link which again just clears the currently playing song & playlist, but your internet radio station does not start.

seems to work for me using 6.5, and with 6.3.x branch r7173

I'll try the 6.2.2 release, 6.3 nightly again to make sure, but I'm pretty sure I could replicate this problem.

Can I ask what skin you were testing with?

I use the Fishbone skin, however, the URL for the > link is the same as the Default skin.

in the test playlist (which happens to be the one from bug 3251) I did find that some stations didn't play, but from the log I could see that it was a non-response from the url.

I can definitely reproduce this bug.

Just to be clear. This is from the Web UI.

Go into browse playlists. You have a list of playlists including Internet radio URL's.
The play > & Add + buttons work here.

But when you click on an Internet radio station playlist "drill down" into the playlist, the buttons for each item inthe playlist no longer work.

BTW- not sure whether I should log a separate bug for this, but renaming a playlist on SlimServer Version: 6.3.0 - 7270 - Windows XP - EN - cp1252 causes the server to die completely and exit.

I've discovered that the issues in this bug report are specific to the Default2 skin I was using.
Also a weird black "Loading..." screen that pops up when the web ui is first opened is specific to this skin.

I believe this skin was written by the Exbrowse3 author, so there must be some common code there somewhere. The add/play bug exists in Exbrowse3, but the playlist-rename crash bug does not.

Unfortunately Jacob hasn't had time to work on those skins in a while.
Comment 7 Andy Grundman 2006-09-07 03:41:55 UTC
Moving Exbrowse3 bugs to 7.0.
Comment 8 KDF 2006-09-20 19:36:12 UTC
is this still an issue with the 7.0a1 builds?
Comment 9 KDF 2006-09-27 00:17:04 UTC
ping?
Comment 10 Mick 2006-10-02 01:54:16 UTC
Sorry,

I haven't been around for the last week or so. I'll download the latest 7.0a nightly and give it a spin.
Comment 11 KDF 2007-10-16 08:40:22 UTC
ExBrowse3 was removed from the trunk at change 13554, so this is no longer an issue.
