Description Jason Holtzapple 2004-06-03 07:18:50 UTC
The slim server should allow an alternate syntax for YEAR GENRE & COMMENT in
cuesheets, since the current method isn't compliant with the cuesheet spec.

The new syntax should be

REM YEAR ...
REM GENRE ...
REM COMMENT ...

But we can support both new and old for the time being. Patch attached.

Michael, as the best CUE expert I can think of in this group, does this seem
reasonable? If we are expecting data that would break CUE standards, we should
consider something safer?
Comment 3 michael 2005-03-05 17:12:24 UTC
yes, this is certainly an improvement towards compatibility with other programs
that support cuesheets. The GENRE portion is slightly less relevent because you
should be able to use it as a CDTEXT shortcut, but apparently some other
programs don't support that yet.

This is in revision 2340

There are 536 bugs in the database with targets of '---' that were fixed prior to new year 2006. I am setting them to targets of 6.2.1 to keep them from showing up in my queries.
Comment 5 Chris Owens 2008-12-18 11:54:26 UTC
Routine bug db maintenance; removing old versions which cause confusion. I apologize for the inconvenience.
