I know, I'm rather late. But since change 6578/6579 (update to CPAN::MP3::Info) coverart stored in MP3 files (id3 tags) aren't recognized any more. Artwork in separate files (cover.jpg etc.) do work, though. 

I only verified this with the 6.2.x branch.
