Description Ross Levine 2006-04-14 13:11:27 UTC
Mat Proud <matproud@bigfoot.com> Emailed this:

I currently have my squeezebox set to "Pause at power off/ Remain Paused
at power on".

I put songs in a playlist and start playing them.

I turn my squeezebox off using the remote.

I turn my squeezebox on using the remote and press either play or pause,
the squeezebox continues playing from where it left off.

At the end of the track it finishes playing, it stops, i have to press
fwd to get it to continue playing the rest of the playlist. (If I press
play after it stops it goes back to the beginning of the same track.)

Any suggestions why it stops like this?

Thanks,

Mat

I think this is an old one, should already be fixed in 6.2.2. When powering off mid-song, 6.2.1 would already be in playout-* mode on the buffer. Restarting from a power on would not restart the buffer. The fix was for pause/unpause, but powering off is very similar.

Thanks! I've suggested it to Mat and I'm awaiting a response.

Marking this as fixed for 6.2.2 - please reopen if it's not.
