Description Blackketter Dean 2004-05-28 10:20:38 UTC
I have noticed that if I select the SlimServer icon on my desktop (running
windows XP, SlimServer version 5.1.5), the "Starting up..." dialogue box is
shown. At the same time a small squeezebox icon is displayed next to the
clock at the bottom of the desktop. This box remains on the screen for 30s
or so, and eventually the "connect to localhost" dialogue box appears asking
for password for the server. I assume the delay is something to do with the
setting on the server? The password box ought to appear immediately? Is this
a bug?

I wonder if this is related to the problem that folks have been having loading up the GUI interface
where it can take many seconds.
Comment 2 KDF 2005-08-08 10:03:20 UTC
Since slimtray uses the default browser, is this still an issue?
Comment 3 Blackketter Dean 2005-08-08 10:28:04 UTC
Good point, this should be resolved in 6.1.1.

Routine bug db maintenance; removing old versions which cause confusion. I apologize for the inconvenience.
