Description Jarad 2004-05-24 05:35:43 UTC
I don't know if this is truly a bug, but I was told to open a bug report by
Dean...

Most music servers I have used automatically remove the songs from the playlist
after they have finished playing. I am sure that I am not the only one who
wishes that the songs fall off of the playlist after they have completed
playing. If this is not a bug, I am sure that this enhancement would be much
appreciated by many if it was included in a future release. Thanks.

Jarad

Moving bugs that won't be immediately fixed in 6.1 release. Please review and update if this is an error
or if this bug has already been fixed. Thanks.

Any chance this option could be placed somewhere on the map again? I tend to
keep adding tracks (usually whole albums) to the playlist while listening over
a period of hours. The number of tracks in the playlist just grows and grows,
with little use for the already-played tracks. Managing that playlist becomes
harder and harder without clearing it first at some point. There's no way that
I want to click on all the little [x] boxes to remove several dozen tracks one
at a time.

If you wanted to make this really slick, make the option a numeric value that
designates how many previously played tracks to keep on the playlist. That way
you could keep a few tracks if you have some reason to go back and repeat one.
Set =0 it keeps the current behavior. Set =1 it will keep one played track, =2
you'd keep two, etc.

Could anyone in the know be able to tell me whether this might be doable with a plugin?

Looks like a plugin exists for this. I haven't used it, myself.

Dean doesn't work here any more :)

Unassigned bugs cannot have a priority.
