It is too easy to accidentally select the SqueezeNetwork item when browsing the top-level player menu. This instantly stops the current music.

Would it be better to have an "are you sure, y/n?" prompt before disconnecting from slimserver? particularly if it is currently playing?

as a workaround, if you plan on not using SN menu item, you can remove it from the menu on a per player basis.  See player settings->menus

Toby: please try SC 7.2, there has been a UI change that may eliminate this issue for you.

If you feel it's still an issue, reopen the bug.
