The 'Favorites' button on the recent remote controls works when the sb2/3 "power" is off.  but as soon as a new clock update needs to happen it switches back to the clock.

other buttons like 'Search' do not work in off state.

to be consistent, favorites should either not work in this state (requiring a power on first) or else, it should turn the power on as a side effect of using it.  (in which case, any other useful buttons should as well to be consistent)

Fixed in change 6744 for tonight's nightly build.
