crashes how??
Please report more info than this for bug reports. You should see crash messages in the windows event viewer. Which skin are you using, and make sure you have the very latest nightly build. This particular bug, tho very vague right now, sounds just like a long resolved issue (regarding a missing id) and shoudl be non-existent now, if you've installed the latest, and properly reloaded the web interface to clear any stale pages.

Dean,

First of all. Please, never forget that I'm just a customer and not your friend or a developer. I've payed for the Squeezebox and I up to now, I've recommended it to all my friends. I hope I wont change my mind. So please, behave properly. I'm just trying to help and I confess that I completly forgot to take a look on the event viewer. I guess I'm getting old. :-)

As you requested:

Event viewer says:

The description for Event ID ( 0 ) in Source ( Application ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event: Can't locate object method "setTracks" via package "Class::DBI::Object::Has::Been::Deleted" at /PerlApp/Slim/Player/Playlist.pm line 686.

File was downloaded this morning from the following URL:

http://www.slimdevices.com/downloads/nightly/latest/6.2.2/SlimServer_v2006-03-25.exe

Ops. ANother missing piece of information:

The crash happens when I try to add a music. Here was just a matter of:

1 - Load SlimServer
2 - Set playlist folder
3 - Power Squeezebox
4 - Browse Music
5 - Add music.

Tray Icon will report that the server is stopped and Squeezebox will display "connecting to server"

Hi Andre. Sorry for the confusion, but I didn't make that comment, one of our other customers and community members did.

(KDF is not a Slim Devices employee.)

We appreciate your bug report and the additional details. The bug you are seeing was due to problem with last night's build. It should be resolved in the build to be released tonight. If it happens with that version, please reopen the bug with details. If not, please close the bug as verified.

Thanks.
