Split from bug 3121:

"2nd Request, incorporate tripath amp chip into squeezebox. i recently hooked my
squeezebox up to a t-amp,  the audio quality  is awesome (google t-amp and read
the audiophile raves). a definate win if u can do this and if you can turn it
off or bypass the the amp it wont annoy the people who dont need it."
