It would be nice if it was possible to select a specific screensaver for each radio station you listen to. Maybe as a setup that could be done on favorite radiostations, giving 3 choices for each station:

[*] 1) Use generally defined screensaver when playing this station (Default)
[ ] 2) Newer show screensaver when playing this station
[ ] 3) Use a special screensaver when playing this station: _______[v]

Also it would be nice if you could choose a different screensaver for internet radio and mp3-player modes.

Oh, well. Maybe it can be done with a smarter UI than suggested. But the reason for this proposal is that I generally have the RSS screensaver on *all the time*. I mostly use my Squeezebox for internet radio, and with most radiostations only an uninteresting URL are shown when playing. For this reason I always have the RSS feed screensaver on when playing (See option 1 above). But... some special stations, like Pandora or Last.fm (with Last.fm plugin), show the track-title and artist when playing, and I don't like having the RSS screensaver on when listening to these stations (See option 2 above). Also some internet radios have live updated playlist on the net, and I would like to make specific screensaver plugins for some of these stations showing the playlist on the Squeezebox display (See option 3 above).

Well, I'm new to Squeezebox, and don't know much about the software and what can be done through plugins. But hope this could give some ideas to either SlimServer developers or plugin developers:-)
