Nokia 770 - clicking album art adds to playlist
Last modified: 2006-02-16 19:42:13 UTC
Whenever I browse by album art and select the photo, it's added into my playlist - sometimes adding my entire artist library. This should not occur; if I browse by photo and click on an album art photo, it should bring up the list of tracks associated with such so I can choose to add them to my playlist or not.
please leave target unset for review and determination by those who do the planning/fixing. I am unable to reproduce this with svn 6264, current to Feb 15 nightly (using firefox) is it possible that the browser on the nokia is blending the image boundaries? what is the link for the artwork when you right click and check properties? proper link is of the form: browsedb.html?hierarchy=artwork,track&sort=artist,year,album&level=1&=1&album=111&player=<playerid> in most cases, the skins are getting this url from a common source: EN/hreftemplate. over to you, ben?
I can't reproduce this on Firefox 1.5, Opera 8.51, or on the Nokia 770 browser. EnochLight, did this happen to you on the PSP? Could be a quirk of that device... One note-- if you browse by artwork, then click on a cover thumb, you are taken to the track listing, which includes the cover art again. If you click on *that* cover thumb, it adds the album to your selected player's playlist. That link is by design.

That link is by design. ---------------------- I'm using Firefox 1.5 as well but my build was 6.5b1 - 6255; I will download the latest and retry. For the record, I was getting my *entire* music library added when I clicked on the last art cover thumb. I'll report back when I can test; gotta get some sleep right now. Cheers!
