Description Matt Sisk 2006-02-13 12:42:12 UTC
When I set my router (Netgear FWP114P) to WPA-PSK wireless encryption, the squeezebox spontaneously gets locked into a 20 second (or less) reboot cycle. Cycling the power does nothing. Switching back to WEP causes the reboot cycle to cease. (in between reboots, the squeezebox appears to function normally...i.e. I can proceed down into the configuration menus, etc, before I run out of time and it reboots)

I'm using the SlimServer_6_2_x_v2006-02-12 build.

Cheers,
Matt

Have you contacted support@slimdevices.com, or phoned tech support?

Matt, is this a first generation squeezebox or a squeezebox2 or v3? If it's a 2 or 3, please try the latest nightly build of 6.2.2 which includes a firmware version that has vastly improved wireless compatibility. (I suspect it is, since squeezebox1 doesn't support wpa).

If you are still having the issue, please reopen the bug with details about your squeezebox model and what firmware version you are using.

Thanks.
